Mindful macrame done online, at your own leisure
I'm Dana, the creator and owner of
My Mini Maine.
Winter in Maine can be so...blah.
Add Covid to that and it's not pretty.
That's why this season I'm embracing all that's comfy and cozy. So, once a week let me guide you through a home-y macrame project that's sure to get your creative juices flowing.
Each class comes with a loose theme to explore and an exercise or prompt to compliment the project. We may not be able to meet in person just yet, but that time will come soon. Let's not rush it.
Classes come pre-recorded so you can hunker down in your special place, turn on my Spotify playlist, and create on your own terms.
It's more than just macrame :)

Not Your Typical Workshop
You learn the "how to" of each macrame project by watching the pre-recorded class (you'll also get a lil peek at Sol Studio since that's where I'll record from!). Each week has a different, loose theme.
As you finish at your own pace, you'll move on to the second step of the evening--a prompt, exercise, or creative compliment to the macrame project (think macrame plant hanger and then potting a plant) that you can dive deeper into.
Highly encouraged: Transform your sacred space into a cozy, chill "getaway" for the evening with candles, twinkle lights, and vibey playlists I'll share with you prior to the class.
Sign up as a VIP to get discounted access to all three classes, all materials, plus a gigt basket to help transform your space!
All the Details...
Sign up for whichever classes you like or all three!
Materials can be mailed (flat $7 shipping fee) or picked up in South Portland (all VIP materials will be mailed or picked up together.)
A link to the prerecorded class and a PDF handout with the theme to explore will be e-mailed on Thursday evenings, along with information on accessing the class playlist.
The link will stay good for a month, so feel free to watch when it works for you.
If you're having trouble with the macrame portion, I'm happy to Zoom with you and offer my help.
A Little Note
Thank you so much for being flexible as I navigate this business and Covid restrictions a little while longer. I hoped and dreamed that we would meet in person this month, but as a business owner as part of a studio collaborative, I have a responsibility to keep things as safe as possible while working within many comfort levels. I'll reassess in person classes in February and can't wait to share everything with you!
